I read Song in a Weary Throat in a seminar with Kate Sonderegger during my first semester at VTS. It’s amazing and I share your joy about Pauli Murray. Donyelle McCray, who graduated with me and is now teaching at YDS, is working on a book about her - she gave the reunion lecture last fall on Pauli Murray. I think it was recorded and I also think you’d love it. I also can’t wait to read your book. I’m childless by choice (though I gained relationships with Davids kids and grandkids when we got married). 😊
I can't wait to read your book, and learn more about these women priests. And I am in constant awe (and jealous) of how you are able to live into your gifts and passions - reading, writing, pondering and offering your observations for the rest of us.
