Thank you for your insights! I am enjoying Holy Solitude, it's my kind of reading. Minimum verbage to say what is needed, while delivering quite a powerful punch. What I found quite striking was Antony's story. I never really gave any thought to talk to Satan; but I surely will tell him to "take a hike" when he rears his ugly head in my life! It was amazing to me, I have conversations with God regularly.

I have always enjoyed times of solitude, I realized quite some years ago that I required a certain amount of solitude. I am coming to realize I have not always used that time to the fullest benefits it offers. Awaiting your next newsletter

Mrs. Piggle Wiggle!!!!! Thanks for the encouragement to slow down and embrace some silence. I needed this today.

I usually find solitude in my morning walks. Turning off the devices before these walks is something I need to work on. As I went to walk this morning I was thinking of what Heidi said about devices' and their distraction. I had only walked a few hundred feet and suddenly noticed the noise of the birds. I think every bird in my neighbor was singing this morning. What a distraction. But it was a good distraction. Like music to my ears. Thank you God for your beautiful creations.

Yay! I was so excited to see this in my inbox. I love the Mrs. Piggle Wiggle story and the idea of slow breakfasts. You know that I was going to try to eat more slowly in this season, but the rush of life has made me forget this, and I'm going to try again this week. And thank for sharing my essay! xoxo
